Product Instructions for Use

A. Shell: Made of environmentally friendly plastic, it has good insulation performance and mechanical strength, can effectively isolate the internal conductive parts from the external environment, prevent electric shock and dust, moisture, etc. from entering, and ensure the safe and reliable operation of the circuit breaker.

B. Contact system: It consists of static contacts and moving contacts, usually made of silver alloy and other materials to reduce contact resistance, improve conductivity and arc resistance. In normal operation, the contacts maintain good contact to ensure smooth passage of current; in case of fault, they can quickly disconnect the circuit and cut off the current.

C. Arc extinguishing system: The arc extinguishing chamber structure is adopted, and arc extinguishing grids, arc extinguishing covers and other components are used to introduce the arc into the arc extinguishing chamber. The arc is quickly extinguished by stretching, cooling and other methods to prevent the arc from burning continuously, causing contact erosion and interphase short circuit.

D. Operating mechanism: It includes manual operating mechanism and electric operating mechanism. The manual operating mechanism performs closing and opening operations through the handle, which is simple and intuitive; the electric operating mechanism can realize remote control, which is convenient for use in centralized control occasions, and is usually composed of motors, electromagnets and other components. (Optional by the user)

E.Release: It is the core protection component of the molded case circuit breaker, mainly including thermal magnetic release and electronic release.

The thermal magnetic release uses the thermal deformation of the bimetallic strip and the principle of electromagnetic force to achieve overload protection and short circuit protection respectively; the electronic release monitors and processes current, voltage and other signals through electronic circuits, and has more accurate protection characteristics and multiple protection functions.

Installation Precautions

1. Before installing the 3P molded case circuit breaker, be sure to cut off the power supply to ensure safe operation. Check whether the installation environment meets the temperature, humidity and altitude requirements specified for the product. Avoid installing in places with flammable and explosive gases, strong corrosive substances or severe vibrations.

2. According to the installation space and wiring requirements, select the appropriate installation method (vertical or horizontal). Use supporting installation accessories to firmly fix the molded case circuit breaker on the mounting plate to ensure firm installation and avoid loosening affecting performance.

3. When connecting wires, ensure that the wire specifications match the rated current of the 3P molded case circuit breaker, and the wire connections are firm and in good contact to avoid heating caused by virtual connections. At the same time, pay attention to the correct phase sequence of the wiring and follow relevant electrical specifications.

FAQ

Q: What is the difference between 3P molded case circuit breakers and 4P ones?

A: 3P molded case circuit breakers are mainly used in three-phase three-wire circuits and can control three live wires (L1, L2, L3) at the same time, suitable for balanced loads such as three-phase motors and three-phase heating equipment. 4P, on the basis of 3P, adds a neutral wire, which is suitable for three-phase four-wire circuits and can cut off the three-phase power supply and neutral wire at the same time. It is often used in power distribution systems with neutral wires or scenarios where abnormal neutral wire current needs to be prevented.

Q: What are the precautions for wiring 3P molded case circuit breakers?

A: When wiring 3P molded case circuit breakers, attention should be paid to: 1. Phase sequence connection: Strictly connect the three-phase live wires according to the marks (L1, L2, L3) to ensure the correct phase sequence, otherwise it may cause the three-phase motor to reverse.

2. Wiring method: Copper wires or copper bars can be used for connection. The cross-sectional area of the wires must match the rated current to ensure good contact and avoid heating caused by excessive contact resistance.

Q: What are the reasons for inconsistent tripping of the three phases of the 3P molded case circuit breaker?

A: Common reasons are: 1. Tripping mechanism failure: Parts such as the tripping spring and lock of one pole are worn or stuck, resulting in delayed or no action. It is necessary to check and replace the damaged parts.

2. Poor contact of contacts: Oxidation, ablation or loose wiring of contacts in a certain phase causes abnormal current in that phase, leading to inconsistent protection actions. It is necessary to clean the contacts, tighten the wiring or replace the contacts.

Q: What product tests do you conduct on molded case circuit breakers before leaving the factory?

A: Electrical performance testing, mechanical performance testing, appearance inspection, temperature rise test, etc.

Q: How do you package the molded case circuit breakers?

A: We use carton packaging, cardboard box packaging, and wooden box packaging (all comply with international export standards).

Q: What are your payment terms?

A: We support T/T payment.
