There are many sizes of distribution boxes. The sizes are different from the size, function, installation environment, material and other aspects of the distribution box. How to choose a suitable distribution box from the classification and purpose of the distribution box.
Classification of distribution box size:
The size of the distribution box itself can be divided into three types according to the size classification:
The size of the first-level distribution box is generally: 0.8mX0.6mX2.2m;
The size of the second-level distribution box is generally: 1mX1.2m;
The size of the third-level distribution box is generally: 500mmX600mm.
Usage classification:
1. Fixed panel type, often called switch board or distribution screen. It is an open distribution box with panel shielding. The front has a protective effect, and the back and sides can still touch the live parts. The protection level is low and can only be used in industrial and mining enterprises with low requirements for power supply continuity and reliability. It is used for centralized power supply in the substation.
2. Power lighting distribution box. Most of them are closed vertical installation. The shell protection level varies depending on the use occasion. They are mainly used as distribution devices at the production site of industrial and mining enterprises.
3. Protective closed type, except for the installation surface, all other sides are closed. The switches, protection and monitoring control and other electrical components of this distribution box are installed in a closed shell made of steel or insulating material, which can be installed against the wall or away from the wall.
4. Drawer type. The closed shell of this type of distribution box is made of steel plate, and the electrical components of the incoming and outgoing line circuits are installed in the removable drawer to form a functional unit that can complete a certain type of power supply task. The functional unit and the busbar or cable are separated by a grounded metal plate or a functional board made of plastic to form three areas of busbar, functional unit and cable.
How should the size of the distribution box be selected?
1. When the electric box is only a lighting box or a small power box, the incoming line is less than 10 square meters, if the number of switch bits is less than 20, the width of the switch plus 20MM on each side is the width of the box, the height is the height of the switch plus 40mm, and the depth is the maximum depth of the switch plus 10mm.
2. When the electrical box is only a lighting box or a small power box, and the incoming line is less than 10 square meters, if the number of switch bits is greater than 20, the electrical box needs to be arranged in two rows of switches. The width of the switch plus 40MM on each side is the width of the electrical box, the height is the switch height plus 40mm, and the depth is the maximum depth of the switch plus 10mm.
3. When the electrical box is only a lighting box or a small power box, and the incoming line is less than 10 square meters, if the incoming line switch needs to be in a separate row, the width of the switch plus 20mm on each side is the width of the electrical box, the height is the switch height plus the incoming line switch height plus 40 mm, and the depth is the maximum depth of the switch plus 10mm.
4. When the electrical box is a power box, or a power lighting box, the algorithm is basically the same as above, but when the incoming line is greater than 10 square meters, the bending radius of the incoming line should be considered. The primary terminal should reserve enough space for the incoming line. When the switch is arranged in two rows, the wiring of the switch should be considered.
SDKC supports users' special tax customization requirements. The distribution box not only has advantages in specifications and materials, but also reflects high quality and high performance in detail processing and overall design. It is manufactured according to users' requirements on size, material, process, etc. to meet your various needs for the shell.
