What do you know about the safety hazard inspection points of the distribution box?
- Warning signs: Confirm whether there are safety warning signs related to electric shock prevention on the door of the distribution box to ensure that they are conspicuous and easy to identify.
- Safety passages and workspaces: Ensure that sufficient safety passages and operating spaces are reserved around the distribution box, and no flammable, inflammable, explosive or corrosive items are piled in the area.
- Sealing of inlet and outlet lines: Check whether all inlet and outlet lines are tightly sealed with fireproof putty or fireproof partitions to prevent external substances from intruding.
- Shielding device: Verify whether the shielding baffle made of flame-retardant material installed in the distribution box is intact to ensure that only the power switch can be seen when the distribution box is opened, and the lines and wiring points should not be exposed.
- Grounding connection: Confirm that the metal box door and the metal box body are effectively grounded by braiding soft copper wire, and welding, crimping or bolting are used. It is strictly forbidden to wrap or hook the connection to avoid the risk of the box shell being electrified under fault conditions.
- Wire protection measures: Check whether the wire leading out of the distribution box is equipped with an insulating gasket or introduced through a conduit at least 50mm-80mm away to protect the wire insulation layer from damage.
- Neutral and ground connection: Verify whether the neutral and ground wires in the distribution box are correctly connected to the specially designed terminal or copper bus.
- Load management: Ensure that there is no overload connection inside the distribution box. Under the same cross-sectional area, the number of wires connected on each terminal shall not exceed two.
- Arc short circuit protection device: Check whether arc isolation plates are installed between the phase connection terminals to prevent arc short circuits when large currents are disconnected, and prevent foreign objects from entering and causing phase-to-phase short circuits.
